Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose office 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time
We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated engineer to support our cutting-edge Enterprise and Data Center SSD products. The ideal candidate should be well versed in storage system and device level test, validation, and failure analysis. Other duties will include monitoring quality metrics to ensure trends are demonstrating a constant improvement in product quality.
- Conduct OCP compliance tests for our datacenter SSDs
- Conduct failure analysis from host\system side, collect debug information such as device logs as well as bus traces for further analysis
- Develop Linux or Windows based test cases for FW feature validation
- Provide support at OEM sites to collect logs or bus traces for failure analysis
Requirements
- What You Bring BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar majors, and 5 years of relevant experience; or a MS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar majors with 3 years of relevant experience is required
- Hands-on experience with system or device-level issue analysis Hands-on experience with Storage protocol (e.g. NVMe\PCIe) and logical/signal analyzers Programming/scripting skills (Perl, Shell or Python is preferred)
- Comfortable working in a multi-functional team Familiar with OCP spec is a plus Strong experience with test case development is a plus
- Experience with system or device-level performance analysis
